It’s a robust India Pale Ale based on an 1890s recipe, far darker and more malty than a modern pale ale. The main hops are true to the era, with fuggles and goldings styles for bittering and flavour, but we’ve added a sprinkling of US citra and amarillo to give a slight touch of citrus aroma. | A. G.
